Senior Hairstylist – Aveda Salon

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Hairstylist to join our Aveda Salon in Dubai. The role involves delivering premium hair care services, consulting with clients, and upholding the brand’s sustainability and quality standards. You will work closely with the salon team to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assess client needs and recommend suitable styles, treatments and products.
• Provide expert consultation throughout the styling process, including colour, cut and hair type advice.
• Perform cutting, trimming and styling for a diverse clientele.
• Execute hair colour services ranging from basic tones to artistic highlights.
• Carry out permanent straightening or wave treatments using specialised Aveda products.
• Maintain detailed client records of colour shades and treatment formulas.
• Stay current with the latest trends and product knowledge.
• Ensure salon hygiene, personal grooming standards and a clean work environment.
• Coordinate with reception to maximise daily appointments.
• Supervise and guide junior assistants to maintain salon standards.

Required profile

• High school qualification and a formal hair‑dressing certification (City & Guilds Level 2).
• 3‑4 years of hair‑cutting experience in a reputable salon.
• Passion for hair styling, strong interpersonal skills and a pleasant appearance.
• Excellent communication and ability to build lasting client relationships.
