Senior Hairstylist (Aveda Salon)

About the role

Join Aveda Salon, part of Al Tayer Group’s premium beauty portfolio, to deliver exceptional hair care experiences using plant‑based, high‑performance products. As a Senior Hairstylist you will lead styling services, mentor assistants, and uphold the brand’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate styles, services, and products.
• Consult and advise on colour, style, hair type, and treatments throughout the styling process.
• Cut, trim and style hair for clients.
• Provide hair colouration services, including artistic colourations and highlights.
• Perform permanent straightening and wave techniques using specialised products.
• Maintain relationships with key customers and record product usage such as colour shades or wave formulas.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest styles, trends and product knowledge.
• Maintain personal grooming standards and ensure salon cleanliness and hygiene.
• Coordinate with reception to maximise daily appointments.
• Guide and supervise hair and salon assistants to maintain salon standards.

Required profile

• High school qualification and formal hair‑dressing qualification (City & Guilds Level 2).
• 3‑4 years of hair‑cutting experience in a reputable salon.
• Passion for hair dressing, style and trends with a pleasant personality and good grooming.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
