Senior Hostess – Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests at our upscale hotel in Dubai. You will set the tone for the dining experience while overseeing front‑of‑house operations with professionalism and grace.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage the host stand, including phone calls, waitlist coordination, and guest flow.
• Handle reservation systems, optimize table assignments, and maintain accurate records of special requests.
• Supervise and mentor junior hostesses, providing training, feedback, and performance guidance.
• Resolve guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
• Collaborate with management, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the entrance and host area.
• Assist with special events, private dining, and group reservations as needed.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience as a hostess or similar front‑of‑house role.
• Proven supervisory or lead experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; fluency in English required.
• Multilingual abilities (Arabic, French, or other languages) are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Experience using reservation management software.
