Senior HR Officer

About the role

An experienced Senior HR Officer is sought in Abu Dhabi to oversee and manage end-to-end human resources operations, ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and support organizational growth through HR policies, employee relations and talent management. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills and experience in the construction, oil & gas, engineering or industrial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, employee relations and offboarding
• Develop, implement and maintain HR policies and procedures
• Handle performance management, appraisals and performance improvement plans
• Manage disciplinary actions, employee grievances, workplace conflicts and resolution processes
• Process visas, handle labour contracts, CICPA requirements and coordinate with PROs and government authorities

Required profile

• At least 8 years of progressive HR experience, including 3-5 years in a senior or managerial HR role
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, employment regulations and HR compliance
• Leadership, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Experience in construction, oil & gas, engineering or related industrial sectors preferred
• Immediate availability or a short notice period preferred
