Senior Income Auditor

About the role

The Senior Income Auditor will ensure the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of all hotel revenue postings and daily reports for a 5‑star resort in Abu Dhabi. Working closely with Front Office, Food & Beverage and Finance teams, the role safeguards revenue integrity and compliance with local DCT regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Post all hotel revenue and submit daily revenue reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Balance and audit Front Office postings, settlements and transactions.
• Transfer daily revenue from Opera to Sun and verify the transferred amounts.
• Reconcile Food & Beverage POS data with the PMS and adjust discrepancies.
• Review Night Auditor logbooks, daily revenue, and food & beverage reports for accuracy.
• Monitor rate variance, complimentary rooms, house‑use rooms and late checkout reports for proper authorization.
• Audit daily cash summary, credit‑card transactions and handle chargebacks from Network International and American Express.
• Prepare and distribute the Daily Operational Package to senior management after approval.
• Conduct weekly float counts, assist with surprise counts and prepare month‑end income journal entries.
• Support month‑end closing, bank reconciliations and ensure compliance with internal finance policies and DCT reporting requirements.

Required skills

• Opera PMS – hotel property management system used for posting and transferring revenue.
• Sun system – daily revenue transfer and verification tool.
• POS system – integration with the PMS for accurate food & beverage revenue reconciliation.
• Credit card processing – handling chargebacks and reconciliations with Network International and American Express.
