Senior Infrastructure Analyst – Linux Administration

About the role

The Senior Infrastructure Analyst will ensure the availability, scalability and reliability of our technology platforms. Working closely with internal and external teams, you will design, implement and monitor Linux‑based solutions that meet current and future business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to IT teams on platform design and implementation.
• Develop robust, secure and high‑performance Linux solutions in line with architectural standards.
• Continuously monitor platform performance, tune systems and manage incidents to minimise business impact.
• Participate in service continuity planning, define recovery routines and implement contingency procedures.
• Translate logical designs into physical specifications, create documentation and configuration standards.
• Conduct benchmark studies, evaluate emerging technologies and manage lifecycle replacement of hardware and software.
• Perform routine installations, removals and configuration updates, and develop installation procedures and schedules.
• Execute integration testing, produce software builds and provide feedback on test results.
• Maintain application support processes, investigate issues, generate performance reports and perform backups/restores.
• Monitor service‑desk metrics, recommend corrective actions and ensure compliance with service‑level agreements.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in Linux system administration and infrastructure analysis.
• Proven ability to design, implement and optimise large‑scale technology platforms.
• Strong understanding of availability, capacity, security and continuity concepts.
• Experience working in cross‑functional project teams and handling incident resolution.
