Senior Interface Engineer / Coordinator

About the role

KBR is seeking a Senior Interface Engineer / Coordinator to join its Sustainable Technology Solutions team on a PMC project in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on delivering interface engineering solutions for petrochemical and LNG facilities, supporting both FEED and detailed engineering phases while ensuring seamless coordination across multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead interface engineering activities for petrochemical and LNG projects, ensuring alignment between design, procurement, and construction.
• Coordinate with client and subcontractor teams to manage interface documentation, resolve technical issues, and maintain project schedules.
• Support FEED and detailed engineering deliverables, providing technical guidance and reviewing interface drawings and specifications.
• Facilitate communication between engineering disciplines, construction teams, and client representatives, especially on ADNOC and other regional projects.
• Travel to international locations as required to support project milestones and client meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in oil & gas projects, with at least 5 years in petrochemical and LNG environments.
• Proven experience in FEED and detailed engineering, preferably on PMC contracts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any discipline).
• Willingness to travel internationally outside the UAE.
