Senior Investment Analyst – AI Training Project

About the role

Ethos is partnering with a leading foundational AI lab to train its newest language model on professional finance documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. As a Senior Investment Analyst you will create, evaluate, and refine AI‑generated outputs across core valuation and credit workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review discounted cash flow (DCF) valuation models, comparable company trading analyses, and leveraged buyout (LBO) models.
• Produce credit risk memos, covenant compliance summaries, and investment committee memoranda for institutional stakeholders.
• Generate and polish AI‑assisted documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks to ensure accuracy and professional presentation.
• Collaborate with the AI research team to provide feedback that improves model performance on finance‑specific tasks.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in equity research, credit analysis, or valuation advisory with direct ownership of DCF, trading comps, and LBO models.
• Deep fluency in credit risk assessment, covenant analysis, and investment committee memo writing.
• Expert‑level craftsmanship in financial documents, spreadsheets, and slide presentations.
• Excellent written communication and meticulous attention to detail.
