Senior IT Project Manager (Airline Applications)

About the role

Cinergie Digital is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead large‑scale programmes across airline reservation, inventory and revenue‑management domains. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage multiple airline customers and external partners, and ensure seamless integration and on‑time delivery of critical airline systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of airline reservation and revenue‑management projects, from scoping and planning through build, testing, deployment and hyper‑care.
• Manage several customer engagements in parallel, aligning requirements, timelines, resources and deliverables without compromising any project.
• Coordinate with third‑party solution providers, GDS partners and technology vendors to ensure smooth integration and enforceable delivery commitments.
• Oversee system migrations, API integrations, EDIFACT/NDC message flows and platform enhancements, including cut‑over planning and rollback readiness.
• Drive risk management, change control and stakeholder communication, maintaining a live risk register and formal change‑impact process.

Required profile

• 8+ years of project management experience in large enterprise or multi‑stakeholder programmes with fixed regulatory or seasonal deadlines.
• Proven ability to manage multiple customers and vendors concurrently while maintaining delivery quality and stakeholder trust.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and senior‑level stakeholder‑management skills, with a track record of delivering difficult news early and with options.

Required skills

• Airline reservation systems, PSS, GDS connectivity, revenue‑management and inventory‑control platforms.
• EDIFACT and NDC message flows, API‑based integrations, large‑system migration approaches.
• SDLC, Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with the judgement to blend models per engagement.
• Vendor and partner management, risk, change‑control and budget management.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or recognised Agile certification (plus).
