Senior IT Support Engineer – L2 (English Speaker)

About the role

The Senior Information Technology Support Engineer provides on‑site L2 support to clients in Abu Dhabi, handling a wide range of Windows, server, networking and application issues. The role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to work independently while delivering excellent user service.

Key responsibilities

• Visit client sites to resolve tickets, perform preventive maintenance and configure hardware such as printers and networking equipment.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Windows Server (2012‑2022), RAID arrays, server migrations and clustering.
• Support Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, email hosting migrations and DNS management.
• Manage Azure, Intune, backup solutions (Veeam, Acronis, Cloud Backup) and storage platforms (QNAP NAS, data migration).
• Configure and maintain firewalls (FortiGate, SonicWall, Sophos), VPNs (IPSEC, SSL) and network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi APs).
• Provide support for macOS, iOS, video‑conferencing systems and CCTV/NVR/DVR equipment.

Required profile

• 7‑8 years of hands‑on IT support experience, preferably in an on‑site environment.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude toward improving procedures.
• Immediate availability.
