About the role
We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join a high‑calibre in‑house legal team supporting one of the UAE’s most strategic infrastructure organisations. The role offers exposure to multi‑billion‑dollar projects across construction, utilities and energy, working directly with senior stakeholders on matters critical to national development.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on a broad range of construction, infrastructure and operational disputes.
- Manage external counsel and develop dispute avoidance and resolution strategies.
- Provide legal support for project delivery, operations and asset‑management matters.
- Guide internal stakeholders on risk management, regulatory compliance and overall legal strategy.
- Deliver practical legal advice throughout the lifecycle of major infrastructure and utilities assets.
Required profile
- Common‑law qualification with approximately 5‑8 years post‑qualification experience.
- Strong construction‑dispute background gained at a leading international law firm.
- Proven experience handling complex claims, arbitrations and dispute‑resolution processes.
- Excellent stakeholder‑management and communication abilities.
- Motivation to move into a broader business‑facing role within a market‑leading organisation.
