Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to lead legal matters across all divisions, including contract law, real estate, energy, investments, corporate advisory, and labour compliance. The role ensures legal risk is minimized while supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert legal counsel on UAE Federal Laws, Common Law, and international regulations, monitor legislative changes and advise management.
• Draft, review, negotiate and standardise a wide range of agreements such as shareholder, development, investment, NDAs, MOUs, and service‑level contracts.
• Advise on real‑estate transactions, ownership structures, RERA compliance and manage property‑related disputes.
• Support corporate legal affairs including company formation, board resolutions, corporate governance and internal audits.
• Manage litigation and dispute resolution, represent the company in legal proceedings and coordinate external counsel.

Required profile

• LLB from a recognised university; postgraduate legal qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum 7 years of legal experience, at least 4 years in the UAE (DIFC or international exposure).
• Professional qualification/admission to practice in a recognised jurisdiction preferred.
• Strong knowledge of British/Common Law and UAE corporate, commercial, real‑estate and employment laws.
• Experience in an in‑house corporate legal function or similar environment.
