Senior Legal Executive

About the role

The Senior Legal Executive will support the organisation’s legal, privacy and compliance functions across the Middle East and Africa region. The role involves handling commercial legal matters, supporting data‑protection initiatives and assisting with regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and coordinate commercial contracts such as NDAs, vendor agreements, service contracts, marketing agreements and distributor arrangements.
• Provide day‑to‑day legal support to business teams on routine contractual and operational matters and identify legal and contractual risks.
• Coordinate with external counsel on litigation, disputes and specialised legal matters as required.
• Support implementation of data‑protection and privacy requirements across the MEA region, including PDPL and other regulations.
• Assist with privacy impact assessments, maintain personal data inventories, records of processing activities and incident‑response processes.
• Support compliance programmes, internal policies and controls, including anti‑bribery, anti‑corruption, code of conduct and competition law.
• Monitor regulatory developments affecting the business and support internal audits, compliance reviews and regulatory interactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) or equivalent.
• 8‑10 years of relevant legal experience, primarily in commercial and corporate matters.
• Exposure to privacy and/or compliance matters is preferred.
• Experience supporting multi‑country or regional operations in the Middle East and Africa is an advantage.
