Senior Litigation Counsel – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Litigation Counsel to join our legal team in Dubai. The role involves managing both contentious and non‑contentious matters, providing strategic legal advice, and protecting the company’s interests across a wide range of disputes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage high‑profile litigation cases in commercial, regulatory, intellectual property and employment sectors.
• Provide strategic advice on dispute resolution and represent the company in court proceedings and arbitrations.
• Oversee preparation and review of pleadings, evidence, witness statements and other legal submissions.
• Manage relationships with external law firms to ensure cost‑effective handling of disputes.
• Advise on corporate, commercial and regulatory matters, including contract negotiations, M&A, compliance and corporate governance.
• Draft, review and negotiate complex contracts while mitigating legal risks.
• Provide guidance on intellectual property, data protection and regulatory compliance in line with UK and EU laws.
• Mentor junior legal team members and collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as compliance, finance, HR and risk.
• Advise senior management and the board on key legal risks and strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience handling both contentious and non‑contentious legal matters in an international context.
• Proven track record of leading high‑profile litigation and managing external counsel.
• Ability to provide strategic legal advice to senior leadership and the board.
• Strong understanding of corporate, commercial, regulatory and compliance issues.
• Experience mentoring junior lawyers and working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
