About the role

EDGE is seeking an experienced Radar Maintenance Engineer to lead maintenance, troubleshooting and field deployment of advanced radar and electronic warfare systems. The role blends strong RF and radar engineering expertise with hands‑on fault diagnosis to ensure system reliability and operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance, routine inspections and complex fault diagnosis using diagnostic tools and circuit diagrams.
• Lead root‑cause failure analysis for radar anomalies and develop long‑term corrective actions.
• Manage a team of technicians and junior engineers, providing technical mentorship and ensuring adherence to SOPs.
• Coordinate spare‑parts inventory, procurement and supply‑chain replenishment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, update technical schematics and ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations.
• Lead field deployment of operational systems, gather performance data and document testing results.
• Identify risks during maintenance and propose mitigation strategies.
• Stay current with the latest RF and radar technologies and industry trends.

Required profile

• Native Arabic speaker with 5‑7 years of hardware and software engineering experience focused on radar or EW applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (Master’s or Ph.D. a plus).
• Strong knowledge of RF principles, radar theory (Doppler modulation, pulse compression, beamforming).
• Experience with phased‑array, pulse‑Doppler or synthetic aperture radar systems.

Required skills

• Simulation tools: CST, AWR, ANSYS HFSS.
• RF testing equipment: spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes.
• Radar/EW signal processing and electronic schematics interpretation.
