Senior Manager – Controlling (Global Treasury Center)

About the role

The Senior Manager – Controlling at the Global Treasury Centre supports the Head of Controlling in driving treasury governance, transformation, AI innovation and financial reporting across Al‑Futtaim’s worldwide operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve Treasury governance frameworks, policies, SOPs, SLAs, DOAs and RACI matrices.
• Lead treasury transformation projects such as cash pooling, in‑house banking, trade‑finance digitisation and technology initiatives, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Establish and oversee AI governance for treasury, driving AI‑enabled reporting, analytics and decision‑support solutions.
• Oversee preparation, review and analysis of Treasury reports, P&L, balance‑sheet positions and operating costs, providing actionable insights.
• Act as primary contact for internal and external audits, maintain a strong control environment and achieve zero repeat high‑risk observations.

Required profile

• Professional certification (CA, CFA, CPA or equivalent); additional treasury coursework is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing treasury operations and controls in a large organisation.
• Advanced knowledge of analytical treasury processes, banking, hedging and trade finance.
