Senior Manager – Data Center Projects (UAE National)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead complex data‑center projects in the UAE. The role requires hands‑on experience in hyper‑scale or mission‑critical environments and responsibility for the full lifecycle – from planning and design through construction, testing, commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end execution of data‑center projects, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
• Lead all lifecycle phases: planning, design validation, construction oversight, testing & commissioning, and handover.
• Review and approve detailed designs for electrical (MV/LV, UPS, generators, PDUs), mechanical (chillers, CRAC, FWUs, HVAC ducting) and low‑voltage systems (fire suppression, CCTV, access control, structured cabling).
• Ensure compliance with Tier III/IV standards, Uptime Institute, TIA‑942, ASHRAE, NFPA and local regulations.
• Supervise on‑site construction activities, conduct quality audits and site inspections.
• Develop and execute Integrated Systems Testing (IST) plans, and coordinate FAT/SAT for major equipment.
• Maintain accurate project documentation (as‑built drawings, test reports, O&M manuals) and support audit and certification processes (ISO 27001, Uptime Institute).
• Act as technical liaison with clients, contractors, OEMs and internal teams, managing vendor deliverables and procurement schedules.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with proven experience managing large‑scale data‑center projects.
• Strong technical expertise in electrical, mechanical and low‑voltage systems.
• Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering on time and within budget.
• UAE national status (as indicated in the title).
