Senior Manager – Data Privacy

About the role

The Data Privacy Senior Manager will lead the company’s privacy programme across all operating countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies. Reporting to senior leadership, this role acts as the Data Privacy Officer and drives a privacy‑first culture throughout the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the Data Privacy Officer and advise on lawful, ethical data processing across all jurisdictions.
• Develop, implement and maintain privacy policies, procedures and frameworks aligned with local laws.
• Lead privacy training, workshops and awareness initiatives for employees.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Information Security and business units to align data protection strategies.
• Monitor regulatory changes, assess risks and update policies proactively.
• Act as the primary contact for regulators, managing audits and data protection inquiries.
• Maintain Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) and conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and privacy risk assessments.
• Oversee incident management and handle data subject requests to ensure timely and compliant resolution.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data privacy or related compliance roles.
• Relevant certifications such as CIPM or CIPP/E preferred.
• Strong knowledge of data privacy laws across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent written English, strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, professional and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic.
