Senior Manager - Fixed Assets and Inventory Control

About the role

The Senior Manager will lead Fixed Assets and Inventory Control functions for AD Ports Group, ensuring accurate tracking, compliance with policies, and effective risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project costs, expenses and payments in line with company policies and budgets.
• Review vendor invoices and payments to align with project milestones and contractual terms.
• Supervise inventory control and fixed‑asset systems, track project‑related costs, optimise stock levels, identify defective items, recommend disposals and maintain depreciation schedules.
• Monitor financial risks, evaluate mitigation plans and advise on improvement strategies for cost control.
• Provide guidance on tracking, controlling and disposing of fixed assets, materials and supplies.
• Lead periodic audits of fixed assets, validate system records and support auditors during asset audits.
• Oversee disposal of obsolete or surplus assets in compliance with regulations.
• Prepare regular reports on stock levels, turnover rates and valuation for the Director of Fixed Assets and Inventory Control.
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of inventory records with physical stock.
• Administer inventory and asset procedures and recommend updates for effective asset management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, CFA or CFM are desirable.
• Proven experience in fixed‑asset and inventory management, project cost control and audit support.
