Senior Manager - Infrastructure Finance Deals

About the role

PwC is hiring a Senior Manager for its Infrastructure Finance practice in Dubai, within the Priority Services line of service. The team advises clients on large-scale capital and infrastructure projects across the full lifecycle, from strategy and concept development to deal closure, covering sectors such as power and utilities, renewables, social infrastructure and transportation. The team is part of the global Infrastructure and Project Finance network.

Key responsibilities

• Support business development regionally and nationally in public and private sector markets
• Take part in responding to requests for proposals for advisory mandates on infrastructure projects
• Build PwC's profile through industry involvement, publications and presentations at conferences and events
• Train and mentor junior staff and work with other Senior Managers, Directors and Partners
• Infrastructure planning and strategy, including feasibility, business case and market analysis
• Procurement options analysis, project risk assessment and project governance frameworks
• Commercial structuring of complex contracts and coordination of legal, financial and technical teams
• Bid evaluation, procurement and process management, and project implementation advice through design and construction

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business or engineering (MBA preferred but not required)
• 8-10 years of experience advising on project development from the developer, consultant or banking side
• Project/Construction Management and/or Procurement experience with large capital projects
• Contract management experience
• Experience in at least one core infrastructure sector (Natural Resources, Transportation and/or Power & Utilities)
• Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic is a strong plus

Required skills

• Understanding of the lifecycle of an infrastructure asset
• Experience with alternative contract types: DB, EPC, to DBFO
• Experience in drafting business plans
• Strong interpersonal, writing and analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities

The role involves travel of up to 20%, and the firm offers work visa sponsorship.
