Senior Manager, Market Conduct Risk

About the role

The Senior Manager of Market Conduct Risk will ensure the bank complies with the UAE Central Bank’s conduct risk oversight. You will develop, implement and monitor conduct risk policies, safeguard consumer protection standards and promote a strong risk culture across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and regularly review the conduct risk policy, ensuring senior‑management oversight and alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Define roles, responsibilities and a formal code of conduct, including disciplinary actions for breaches.
• Establish and manage a risk register for misconduct, monitor third‑party engagements and oversee controls to mitigate conduct‑related risks.
• Oversee training programmes on conduct risk and embed conduct criteria into performance evaluations.
• Monitor market abuse incidents, manage conflict‑of‑interest policies and ensure transparent handling of customer complaints.
• Track annual conduct‑risk losses as a percentage of net profit and assess conduct risks of new products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Education or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, controls and governance within the banking sector.
