About the role

The Senior Manager – Ports & Terminal Solutions leads the translation of port and terminal business needs into robust IT solutions. The role focuses on process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency while ensuring alignment with the technology roadmap and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business processes and convert requirements into IT designs that streamline and automate operations.
• Maintain continuous dialogue with key users to identify bottlenecks and propose improvements.
• Perform impact analysis on change requests and advise business on pros and cons.
• Prioritise initiatives based on ROI and present monthly updates to stakeholders.
• Lead high‑level solution design and guide development teams, including coordination with external partners.
• Allocate resources, monitor project progress, and produce regular status reports.
• Collaborate with testing teams to define scenarios and ensure functional and system testing before UAT.
• Contribute to IT budgeting and ensure compliance with IT governance, cybersecurity, and regional information‑security standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading IT solution design and delivery for complex business domains.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical users.
• Leadership skills to develop team capabilities in business knowledge and project management.
• Understanding of UAE regional IT governance and security standards.
