Senior Manager – Sourcing

About the role

The Senior Manager – Sourcing will lead strategic sourcing and category management for technology and IT spend within a multinational organisation based in the United Arab Emirates. Reporting to senior leadership, the role partners with business stakeholders to design sourcing strategies that drive cost efficiency, risk mitigation and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing and category management initiatives across technology and IT procurement categories.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into sourcing plans and best‑practice procurement processes.
• Manage end‑to‑end sourcing cycles, including RFI, RFP and RFQ issuance, supplier evaluation, negotiation and contract implementation.
• Conduct supplier, market and spend analysis to uncover opportunities and support data‑driven decision making.
• Lead commercial negotiations and maintain supplier relationships to achieve optimal commercial, operational and service outcomes.
• Monitor supplier performance, ensure compliance with procurement policies and drive continuous improvement.
• Coach, mentor and develop the procurement team, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (MBA, Finance or Engineering preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of procurement and strategic sourcing experience in a multinational environment.
• Extensive experience in technology and IT sourcing, working with global technology vendors.
• Proven expertise in supplier negotiations, category management and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong analytical, commercial and communication abilities.
• CIPS certification and experience with SAP Ariba or similar platforms are advantageous.
