Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will lead the design and development of mechanical systems for generator packages, ensuring seamless integration of engines and alternators while meeting performance and reliability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop complete mechanical systems for generator packages.
• Handle engine and alternator integration activities.
• Perform torsional vibration calculations (TVC) and comprehensive vibration analysis.
• Design airflow, exhaust, acoustic enclosure, and fuel tank systems.
• Coordinate technical design activities with internal teams and external vendors.
• Support design analysis, troubleshooting, and produce engineering documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the power generator industry.
• Strong knowledge of engine & alternator integration, TVC calculations, vibration analysis, airflow & exhaust design, acoustic enclosure design, and fuel tank design.
• Ability to independently manage design projects and technical coordination.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
