Senior Mechanical Engineer – Static Equipment

About the role

Worley is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead static equipment engineering activities across FEED, EPC and detailed engineering phases. The role involves technical leadership for the design, specification and procurement of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks and related package equipment. You will ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes while supporting sustainable project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all static equipment engineering tasks from concept through detailed design and construction.
• Develop and review equipment datasheets, specifications, material requisitions and vendor documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, TEMA, ASTM and ADNOC standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with Process, Piping, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation and Procurement disciplines to integrate static equipment requirements.
• Review and approve vendor drawings, calculations, manufacturing procedures and inspection plans.
• Support constructability reviews, value engineering studies and cost optimisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including at least 5 years in the GCC region.
• Proven experience in FEED and EPC phases of major international projects, with offshore exposure.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
