Senior MLOps Engineer

About the role

SoftServe's AI and Data Science Center of Excellence, based in Europe, is looking for a Senior MLOps Engineer. The role works with Data Science teams on model operationalization, builds end-to-end production pipelines for ML solutions and supports the ML software infrastructure. It is also open to consulting on different projects with a flexible schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate use cases, requirements and expectations with stakeholders.
• Guide engineering and data science teams through the ML systems production lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Data Science teams on model operationalization strategies and with product teams to deliver and operate ML systems.
• Implement end-to-end production pipelines for ML solutions.
• Support and continuously improve ML software infrastructure, including CI/CD, data stores, cloud services, network configuration, security and system monitoring.
• Set up scalable monitoring systems for data pipelines and ML models.
• Operationalize AI solutions using best practices in machine learning, MLOps, DevOps and software engineering.
• Maintain synergy between data scientists, DevOps and ML engineers to build infrastructure, set up processes and productize ML pipelines.
• Work as a consultant on different projects with a flexible schedule.

Required profile

• Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in ML solutions, design patterns and operationalization.
• Strong requirements gathering and estimation skills.
• Upper-intermediate English to cover daily project needs.

Required skills

• Hands-on Python and the traditional Python DS/ML stack.
• CI/CD/CT pipelines for ML.
• Kubeflow, MLflow or similar; Kubernetes; Databricks.
• Azure cloud services (AI Studio, AI Search, Data Factory, Functions, Cosmos DB).
• Feature stores, Hadoop ecosystem and Apache Spark.
• Workflow orchestration such as Airflow (a plus).
• Healthcare data experience is a plus.
