Senior MLRO & Compliance Officer – ADGM Broker Dealer

About the role

Bybit is seeking a senior MLRO & Compliance Officer to lead the compliance and financial‑crime function for its ADGM‑licensed broker‑dealer entity. This senior, hands‑on role combines deep knowledge of ADGM/FSRA regulation with commercial acumen to work closely with trading, product and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and oversee the compliance function, ensuring adherence to all FSRA Rules, FSMR, MIR and related regulations.
• Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures and monitoring programmes, including trade surveillance and conflicts‑of‑interest management.
• Provide independent compliance advice to the Board and senior management, reporting material issues promptly.
• Conduct regular compliance reviews, testing and gap analyses to assess control effectiveness.
• Liaise with the FSRA on compliance matters and remediate regulatory findings.
• Lead the AML/CFT/sanctions programme, handling SARs/STRs and filing reports via goAML where required.
• Develop AML policies, risk assessments, CDD/EDD processes and ongoing monitoring tailored to virtual‑asset and brokerage risks.
• Deliver AML training, act as primary contact with regulators and provide regular AML reporting to the Board.

Required profile

• 10+ years senior compliance or financial‑crime experience in ADGM, DIFC or comparable regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of FSRA Rules, FSMR, ADGM AML Rulebook and sanctions frameworks.
• Experience in a broker‑dealer or trading environment, including trade surveillance and conduct obligations.
• Proven ability to engage with regulators on supervisory matters and licensing applications.
