Senior Murex Finance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Murex Finance Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on implementing and supporting Murex version 3.1 finance capabilities, with a strong emphasis on accounting and hedge‑accounting modules.

Key responsibilities

• Define systems and data requirements, validate design and processes from functional and technical perspectives.
• Develop and refine business, functional and testing requirements, collaborating with vendors as needed.
• Configure Murex solutions according to specifications, focusing on accounting and hedge‑accounting modules.
• Lead implementation and support of Murex version 3.1 for finance capabilities.
• Deliver projects on time, ensuring accurate accounting for trades, flows, liquidations and business events.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Murex Finance consultant.
• Strong functional knowledge of finance across asset classes such as credit derivatives, interest‑rate derivatives, equity derivatives, fixed income, FX cash, FX derivatives, commodities and structured derivatives.
• Proven experience in Murex accounting module and, preferably, the hedge‑accounting module.
• Ability to lead and deliver finance‑focused projects within a complex trading environment.
