Senior Officer - Compliance & Assurance (Outsource)

About the role

The Senior Officer joins the Cyber Defense Center within ADIB's Group Information Security Department, focusing on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) monitoring, incident validation, and assurance activities to protect the bank’s information assets.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze and investigate DLP alerts across all data transfer channels, performing L2 validation of incidents identified by L1 analysts.
• Coordinate escalation, investigation and remediation of true‑positive incidents with IT, business units, HR, Legal, Privacy, and Fraud Investigation teams.
• Develop and maintain DLP dashboards, reports and metrics, and conduct trend and risk analysis to improve monitoring effectiveness.
• Perform periodic assurance reviews of DLP processes, ensuring compliance with ADIB policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Provide guidance and coaching to L1 analysts and lead DLP awareness initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, risk or compliance, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field.
• Strong analytical and investigative capabilities with stakeholder management experience.

Required skills

• Data Loss Prevention (DLP) monitoring and incident handling.
• SIEM, incident/case management and GRC platforms.
• Dashboard creation, metrics development and trend analysis.
• Knowledge of UAE banking regulations, data protection and privacy standards.
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC.
