Senior Officer – Documentation (Emiratised Role)

About the role

The Senior Officer, Documentation is responsible for preparing and vetting documentation related to credit facilities, ensuring accurate recording within the bank’s systems, and guaranteeing the enforceability of security documents executed by customers. The role supports credit renewal reviews and collaborates with multiple internal and external stakeholders to maintain up‑to‑date collateral records.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Facility Offer Letters, Term Loan Agreements, and related security/support documentation in line with approved credit facilities.
• Review and verify security documents, confirming proper execution, validity, and signatory authority.
• Rectify discrepancies in legacy security documentation and ensure approvals for any deferred or waived requirements.
• Monitor documentation deficiencies, track expiries, and coordinate timely renewals.
• Maintain collateral records in the bank’s systems and lodge security documents appropriately.
• Support creation, amendment, registration, and release of securities, mortgages, and charges with government and free‑zone authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of corporate banking experience, including at least 3 years within a Corporate Credit Administration function.

Required skills

• Proficiency with banking software systems and applications.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Word.
