Senior Officer - Security

About the role

The Senior Officer – Security Operations leads day‑to‑day security activities across assigned sites and shifts, ensuring compliance with AD Ports Group and Nishan security standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements. This frontline role provides operational control, incident response, access control, patrols, and compliance monitoring to maintain a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the on‑site senior authority during shifts, directing security officers and contracted personnel.
• Manage access control, perimeter security, patrols, and monitoring of designated areas.
• Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies, escalating to the Supervisor and UCC as needed.
• Record and report all incidents, observations, and activities within defined timelines.
• Conduct routine patrols, inspections, and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
• Support implementation of Security Plans, Security Assessments, and Group Security Action Plans.
• Coordinate with UCC, operations teams, emergency responders, and authorities during incidents and drills.
• Ensure proper shift handover and maintain confidentiality of security information.
• Assist with audits, inspections, and corrective action closure.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with security operations and 24/7 shift work.
• Knowledge of ISPS Code and national security regulations.
• Ability to supervise and guide security personnel.
