Programme Manager – SkyKnight/Skynex

About the role

The Programme Manager (SkyKnight/Skynex) leads multiple high‑scale, complex defence projects, ensuring they align with EDGE’s strategic objectives and deliver on budget, quality and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and establish best‑practice programme management for SkyKnight/Skynex, implementing strategies, procedures and tools aligned with EDGE’s strategic direction.
• Work with business stakeholders to validate concepts and ensure project outcomes meet business and stakeholder requirements.
• Plan and develop scope, deliverables, milestones, resources, budgets and timelines together with project sponsors and cross‑functional teams.
• Manage programme budgets, monitor expenditures and track benefits, ensuring delivery against schedule, quality and cost targets.
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies and interfaces across multiple projects, and drive governance, quality assurance and regular reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of experience managing large‑scale Air Defence programmes in a defence environment.
• Proven ability to plan, monitor and control complex programmes and to allocate resources effectively.
• Experience with budgeting, financial management and procurement negotiations.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in Business Administration and a recognised Project Management qualification.
