Senior Officer – Technology Risk

About the role

The Senior Officer – Technology Risk will lead the identification, assessment and mitigation of technology‑related risks across large‑scale programmes within the client’s Business Technology environment. The role ensures that risk registers are aligned with the organisation’s enterprise risk framework and that incident response is coordinated effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct periodic technology risk assessments covering operational, third‑party and cyber‑security domains and document findings according to DA Cyber Security standards.
• Maintain and align the client’s technology risk register with the enterprise risk programme, ensuring proper documentation and storage.
• Develop and oversee mitigation strategies for identified risks, guaranteeing that actions are tracked and stored securely.
• Drive continuous improvement of the technology risk management programme, facilitating knowledge transfer across Business Technology teams.
• Support technology and cybersecurity incident management by evaluating risk impact and contributing to response activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
• 7–10 years of overall experience, with 5–7 years in technology risk management.
• Relevant certifications such as CRMP, CRISC, Prince2/PMP and ITIL.
• Experience in the aviation industry or large‑scale project environments is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GRC tools.
• Advanced use of MS Office suite.
