Senior Oracle EBS and APEX Developer

About the role

Vertiv, a global organization that designs, builds and services critical infrastructure for data centers, communication networks and commercial and industrial facilities, is looking for a Senior Oracle EBS and APEX Developer in its IT / Oracle Development department, reporting to the Development Manager. The developer designs, develops and maintains extensions and integrations within the Oracle EBS environment and web applications built with Oracle Application Express (APEX).

Key responsibilities

• Gather requirements with business analysts and end-users and define application specifications.
• Design and develop scalable web applications with Oracle APEX following best practices and coding standards.
• Customize Oracle EBS applications, reports and interfaces using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports and related technologies.
• Implement data models, database objects and SQL queries, optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.
• Test and debug applications thoroughly.
• Work with Oracle EBS functional consultants and developers, and mentor junior developers.
• Stay up to date with Oracle APEX features and collaborate in Agile/Scrum sprints.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience developing with Oracle EBS and APEX.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; international experience; experience in an international system integrator is a plus.
• Strong English, analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and teamwork.
• Process discipline, documentation skills and adaptability to deadlines and workflow changes.

Required skills

• Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, Oracle ERP from a functional perspective, and Oracle APEX.
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
• Functional and technical design documentation.
• ITIL v3 knowledge preferred.
