Senior Oracle EBS Manufacturing Applications Analyst

About the role

ECS, Enterprise Change Specialists, is hiring a Senior Applications Analyst for Oracle Manufacturing in Dubai. The role covers analysis, design, implementation and testing of Oracle E-Business Suite, with strong knowledge of Oracle Manufacturing modules, and requires about 10-12 years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, design, implement and test Oracle E-Business Suite in line with applicable standards.
• Prepare unit test and end-to-end test scripts and run CRP/UAT with global business users.
• Investigate issues in Oracle application functionality, determine root causes and resolve them, prioritizing assigned issues.
• Create and manage Technical Assistance Requests (TARs) with the Oracle support organization.
• Monitor key business processes and work with end users to streamline them and improve efficiency.
• Develop functional and technical specifications for new business requirements.
• Document detailed processes and procedures and train end users.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, information technology or computer applications.
• Around 10-12 years of experience with Oracle applications in manufacturing modules such as Inventory, BOM, WIP, Costing and Advanced Supply Chain Planning.
• Working knowledge of the "Plan to Procure" and "Order to Cash" processes is mandatory.
• Strong technical and functional knowledge; techno-functional candidates (about 60% technical, 40% functional) preferred.
• Clear written and verbal communication, able to write requirements and test plans.

Required skills

• Extensive hands-on experience with one or more RICEW components (forms, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, workflows).
• PL/SQL, XML Publisher, query tuning and shell scripting are mandatory.
• Preferred: Oracle Application Framework (OAF), page personalization and extension, MES integration, legacy data conversion and third-party integrations, item costing, cycle count and outside processing.
