Senior Piping Engineer – Abu Dhabi

About the role

KBR is seeking a Senior Piping Engineer to lead the design and delivery of safe, reliable, and cost‑effective piping systems for projects in Abu Dhabi. You will act as the single point of contact for all piping deliverables, coordinating with clients, multidisciplinary teams, and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Define piping design bases, codes, standards and deliverables.
• Engineer piping systems, supports, routing, isometrics and perform stress analyses.
• Develop and review material specifications, datasheets and technical bid evaluations.
• Supervise thermal expansion, vibration and pipe routing optimization studies.
• Ensure compliance with international codes (e.g., ASME B31.3, ISO 15156, NACE MR0175).
• Review and approve technical documents such as P&IDs, isometrics, BOMs and change requests.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive quality and schedule adherence across project phases.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years (144 months) of piping engineering experience in oil & gas or related sectors.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects.
• Strong communication skills to interface with clients and vendors.
• Experience in mentoring engineers and ensuring deliverable quality.
