Senior Piping Engineer – Offshore FEED Project

About the role

The Senior Piping Engineer will lead piping engineering and design activities for an offshore FEED project for ADNOC in Abu Dhabi, ensuring safe, reliable and cost‑effective piping systems throughout the front‑end engineering phase.

Key responsibilities

• Perform piping engineering and design activities for offshore FEED projects, including development of design basis, material specifications and general arrangement drawings.
• Prepare and review FEED deliverables, piping philosophies, design criteria and constructability reviews to meet project schedules and quality standards.
• Develop and optimise piping layouts considering offshore space constraints, maintenance, safety routes and weight optimisation, and coordinate routing with multidisciplinary teams.
• Review and select appropriate piping materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, nickel alloys, GRE/GRP) and support corrosion and material suitability studies.
• Coordinate stress analysis, flexibility and vibration assessments with stress engineers to ensure mechanical integrity of critical piping systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (Master’s degree advantageous).
• Minimum 15 years of piping engineering experience in oil & gas, with at least 5 years on ADNOC offshore projects and proven FEED and detailed engineering experience.
