Senior Planning Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to lead the development, monitoring and updating of project schedules, ensuring timely delivery across our construction and oil‑&‑gas projects. The role will work closely with engineering, procurement and construction teams to keep the schedule aligned with contractual commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project and create a comprehensive Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
• Establish project baselines for scope, schedule and cost, defining milestones, deliverables and critical path activities.
• Track progress, perform critical‑path analysis, identify delays and prepare recovery plans.
• Monitor resource allocation, productivity and generate weekly/monthly progress reports, S‑curves, histograms and KPI dashboards.
• Maintain planning documentation, change logs and support claim preparation and extension‑of‑time analysis.
• Participate in project meetings, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage schedule‑related risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or related field).
• 6–10 years of experience in project planning, preferably in construction, oil & gas or infrastructure.
