Senior Planning Engineer – PMC

About the role

The Senior Planning Engineer (PMC) will develop, monitor and control integrated project schedules for ADNOC Offshore projects, ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards and contractual milestones. The role supports delivery across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning phases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Level 3/4 schedules using Primavera P6, establishing WBS, CBS and baselines for all project phases.
• Monitor progress against baselines, perform critical‑path analysis, what‑if scenarios and recovery planning.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards and look‑ahead schedules for management.
• Assess schedule impact of variations, claims and change orders, supporting delay analysis and EOT evaluations.
• Interface with ADNOC Offshore, EPC contractors, subcontractors and internal discipline leads.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or related).
• Minimum 15 years of planning experience in oil & gas, with at least 5 years in a PMC role supporting ADNOC Offshore or similar operators.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, fast‑paced project environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Experience with progress measurement systems and schedule risk analysis.
• Solid understanding of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning workflows.
