Senior Platform Engineer – Kubernetes & OpenShift

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and operate enterprise‑grade cloud platforms. You will lead the automation and lifecycle management of Kubernetes and OpenShift environments for a global cloud infrastructure provider.

Key responsibilities

• Own deployment, configuration, upgrade, and maintenance of high‑scale Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to provision and scale enterprise clusters.
• Troubleshoot complex platform issues, including networking (CNI), storage allocation, and application orchestration bottlenecks.
• Harden multi‑tenant environments to meet strict security baselines and operational runbooks.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members and collaborate with DevOps teams to improve the developer experience.

Required profile

• 4+ years hands‑on experience administering production‑grade Kubernetes or OpenShift at scale.
• 1–2 years in a senior engineering role within a large infrastructure or platform engineering division.
• Strong Linux systems administration background and experience with enterprise storage integrations.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CKA, CKAD, Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift) are a plus.
