About the role

An experienced engineer is sought to lead the design and technical coordination of post-tensioned concrete structures. The role covers design, calculations, coordination with consultants and site teams, and mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

Design PT slabs and prepare structural calculations and technical reports.
Review shop drawings, tendon layouts and reinforcement details.
Carry out strength, punching shear, deflection and serviceability checks.
Develop value-engineering solutions to optimise structural design.
Coordinate with consultants, third-party reviewers and site teams.
Guide junior engineers and draftsmen to meet submission deadlines.

Required profile

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Strong experience in post-tensioning design, including high-rise and residential projects.
Ability to manage designs independently and resolve technical comments.
UAE experience and familiarity with authority requirements are preferred.

Required skills

Proficiency in RAM Concept, ETABS and SAFE.
Good knowledge of ACI and Eurocode requirements.
