About the role

The Senior Principal E&M Specialist will lead the development of innovative solutions for equipment and machinery challenges within marine operations. Acting as the subject‑matter expert, you will influence program direction, resource allocation and ensure compliance with marine regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the marine function subject‑matter expert for equipment and machinery, applying advanced marine engineering principles.
• Analyze marine regulations, standards and guidelines, providing recommendations to ensure project compliance and smooth progress.
• Lead and coordinate cross‑functional marine teams, planning and executing marine‑related aspects of projects while adhering to timelines and budgets.
• Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation plans and oversee the selection and management of marine contractors and vendors.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues in marine systems, delivering practical solutions to minimize downtime.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture or related field.
• 7‑10 years of marine engineering experience, including EPCI projects and offshore activities.
• In‑depth knowledge of marine regulations, standards and guidelines.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
