Senior Process Engineer - Greenfield

About the role

The Senior Process Engineer will lead the development, design, verification and delivery of process engineering activities for ADNOC offshore greenfield oil and gas projects. You will provide technical leadership across FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and start‑up while ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards, international codes and HSE requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead process engineering for offshore facilities including wellhead platforms, processing, gas compression, water injection, produced water treatment and export systems.
• Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, design basis documents and process narratives.
• Prepare and review calculations such as heat & material balances, hydraulic analysis, pressure‑relief studies, flare network analysis and equipment sizing.
• Perform process simulation using Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus or equivalent tools.
• Support concept selection, pre‑FEED, FEED and detailed design phases, evaluating alternatives for cost, operability, reliability and safety.
• Prepare specifications and datasheets for separators, heat exchangers, compressors, pumps, filters, flare systems, surge vessels and water‑treatment packages.
• Assist in technical bid evaluations, vendor document reviews and resolve technical queries.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in offshore oil and gas process engineering.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams through all project phases.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC engineering standards, ASME, API and IEC codes.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
