Senior Procurement Consultant / Assistant Manager – Government Sector (UAE)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Consultant / Assistant Manager to support government‑focused transformation programmes in the UAE. You will work within a high‑performing Supply Chain & Operations team, delivering strategic procurement solutions that improve cost efficiency and operational performance for public‑sector clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop innovative commercial insights and procurement strategies tailored to client needs.
• Lead spend management, category management, strategic sourcing and procurement digitalisation initiatives.
• Design and implement Target Operating Models (TOM) and new‑entity operationalisation for government programmes.
• Contribute to thought leadership and improve operational efficiency on client projects and internal initiatives.
• Support renewables and energy‑transition procurement programmes.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of consulting experience, preferably with a Tier 1 consultancy.
• Strong procurement project experience in transformation, sourcing, operating‑model or business‑transformation initiatives.
• Proven experience working with government entities, sovereign wealth funds or public‑sector transformation programmes.
• Outstanding academic record (minimum Bachelor’s degree).
• Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel across the region.
