Senior Procurement Officer - IT

About the role

AD Airports is looking for a Senior Officer Procurement to manage the end-to-end procure-to-pay (P2P) cycle for transactional and tactical procurement needs. The role covers the full RFQ process, purchase order management, delivery expediting, payment coordination and resolution of procurement disputes, in line with the company's corporate governance policies. It involves close coordination with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Review requisitions and coordinate with stakeholders on scope of work, technical criteria and evaluation committee details.
• Conduct market research, prepare tender strategies and bidder lists, issue RFQs and solicit proposals.
• Facilitate site visits, manage RFQ clarifications, oversee technical and commercial evaluations and negotiate commercial terms.
• Recommend purchase order awards, prepare and issue POs, coordinate delivery and facilitate payment processing.
• Manage PO variations, resolve supplier claims with Legal and other stakeholders, and set up Framework Agreements with end users.
• Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi Airports' policies and maintain auditable procurement records and performance metrics (SLAs, KPIs).
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, conduct performance appraisals of subordinates and identify their training needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• At least 5 years of procurement experience for goods, services and/or works, preferably in a client organization.
• Knowledge of electronic tendering systems and ERP platforms; Microsoft Office 365 proficiency preferred.
• Ethics, analytical thinking, financial and commercial acumen, negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
