Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Officer to lead procurement, sourcing and supply‑chain activities for our diverse manufacturing facilities in Abu Dhabi. The role will ensure timely acquisition of raw materials, machinery and services while maintaining strong supplier relationships and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Source and procure raw materials, machinery, spare parts, chemicals and consumables for multiple production lines.
• Manage local and international purchasing, including imports from Europe and other global markets.
• Obtain, evaluate and negotiate quotations, develop strategic supplier partnerships and conduct performance reviews.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores, Planning, Engineering and Maintenance to forecast material needs and monitor inventory levels.
• Track purchase orders, shipments, customs clearance and optimise stock while reducing carrying costs.
• Participate in technical evaluation of materials and equipment, support tendering and cost‑control initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards and internal procurement procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Civil or related).
• Minimum 5 years of procurement and supply‑chain experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Proven experience in international sourcing, import procedures and supplier management.
• Familiarity with industrial materials such as steel, aluminium, coatings, chemicals and machinery.
