About the role
The University is seeking a Senior Programmer to lead the development and maintenance of its ERP and Educational Management Systems. The role involves designing, coding, and supporting applications that serve both administrative and academic users across the campus.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and enhance applications using Visual Basic, ASP, and the .NET framework.
- Design, implement, and maintain ERP modules and the Educational Management System.
- Manage, monitor, and optimise Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Perform regular backups of source code and ensure database integrity.
- Provide technical assistance and advice to business users on application usage.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience in VB, ASP, and .NET development.
- Strong background in SQL Server database administration.
- Ability to troubleshoot, verify data integrity, and maintain reliable backups.
