Senior Project Control Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Project Control Engineer to join AECOM’s Dubai team. You will be responsible for planning, monitoring and reporting on large‑scale infrastructure projects, ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 across design, procurement and construction phases.
• Review contractor baseline programmes for compliance with contract requirements and logical sequencing.
• Monitor construction progress, identify variances and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports highlighting milestones, delays, risks and recovery measures.
• Evaluate contractor Extension of Time (EOT) claims and perform delay analyses.
• Support cash‑flow forecasts, resource histograms and manpower projections.
• Coordinate schedule data with Cost Control, Engineering, Procurement and Construction teams.
• Present schedule status and recovery strategies in progress meetings with clients and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project control or scheduling on large infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of contract procedures and progress measurement.
• Ability to work closely with resident engineers, construction managers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
