Senior Project Coordinator Waste And Environment

About the role

Egis is seeking an experienced Senior Project Coordinator to support a major waste sector advisory project in the UAE. Based on‑site in Abu Dhabi, the role will act as the daily coordination hub between the client and a multidisciplinary team of senior experts covering waste management, tariff and financial analysis, infrastructure, institutional and regulatory matters, policy, benchmarking, data analysis and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the on‑site focal point for day‑to‑day coordination between the client and project team.
• Synchronise activities and inputs across waste management, financial, tariff, infrastructure, institutional and regulatory workstreams.
• Coordinate technical, financial and economic inputs required for feasibility and tariff assessments.
• Facilitate effective communication and information flow between the client and multidisciplinary experts.
• Track and follow up on data requests, technical comments and deliverable deadlines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in coordinating large‑scale waste or environmental projects.
• Strong knowledge of feasibility studies, infrastructure economics and tariff frameworks.
• Ability to integrate and manage technical, financial, economic and institutional inputs across multiple workstreams.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder‑engagement skills.

Required skills

• Experience with waste management advisory projects.
• Understanding of tariff and financial analysis methodologies.
• Familiarity with infrastructure economics and feasibility study processes.
