Senior Project Engineer E&I

About the role

Emirates Electrical & Instrumentation Company LLC, a member of the Ghobash Group, is looking for a Senior Project Engineer E&I to lead and coordinate electrical and instrumentation engineering across the EPC project lifecycle. The company has worked on ADNOC offshore projects for almost 20 years and provides full EPC&M services for electrical and instrumentation works.

Key responsibilities

• Review project scope, contractual requirements, technical specifications, design basis and ADNOC Offshore standards to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering disciplines, procurement, vendors, construction teams, subcontractors and commissioning teams.
• Monitor engineering deliverables, milestones and technical activities against approved schedules.
• Review and coordinate deliverables such as single-line diagrams, cable schedules, instrument indexes, loop diagrams, termination and hook-up drawings and equipment layouts.
• Manage multidisciplinary interfaces, resolve technical queries and design conflicts, and coordinate material requisitions, technical bids, vendor document reviews and technical approvals.
• Support construction teams and subcontractors during E&I installation at offshore facilities and onshore locations, including cable trays, cable pulling and termination, earthing, lighting, instrumentation, tubing and hook-up.
• Support brownfield modifications, tie-ins, hook-ups and shutdown-related work, and coordinate FAT, SAT, loop checking, pre-commissioning and commissioning.
• Liaise with ADNOC Offshore, PMC/engineering consultants, vendors and subcontractors, and take part in design reviews, HAZID/HAZOP sessions and technical meetings.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, ITPs and international standards, and comply with HSE requirements and permit-to-work systems.
• Prepare technical reports, test records and as-built drawings, and coordinate punch-list clearance, handover and project close-out.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8-12 years of E&I engineering and execution experience in oil and gas EPC.
• Mandatory: previous experience on ADNOC Offshore projects.
• Proven experience coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning interfaces.
• Experience in offshore facilities, platform projects, brownfield modifications, tie-ins or hook-up and commissioning.
• Good knowledge of ADNOC project specifications, technical approval workflows and international standards.
• Ability to work in ADNOC offshore sites, under pressure and with tight deadlines.
